Hello all and welcome to the !BANG! TV Report.
Hope everybody had a
wonderful Thanksgiving. Before I begin, I would like to note that !BANG!
is
only four weeks away from it's 100TH broadcast and eight weeks away
from it's
two year anniversary. More details on those events next week.
Today's opening match would be for the Funking
Conservatory World
Heavyweight Championship between the champion The Royal Stud Adam Windsor
against Azreal of NWA Wildside's The Lost Boyz.
The match started off with both Adam and Azreal
using waistlocks and
hammerlocks on each other before Adam tried a schoolboy rollup getting
a one
count. Adam caught Azreal in a headlock takedown into an armbar. Adam
went
for the cover, but Azreal kicked out at two. Azreal countered with
a head
scissors but Adam quickly kicked out before The Claw could count to
one. Adam
took Azreal down into an abdominal stretch then hooked the leg
for the pin,
but Azreal again kicked out at two.
Adam went back to an armbar on Azreal, but was forced
to break the hold
when The Claw saw Azreal's foot on the rope. Adam tried again by taking
Azreal down to the mat with a hiptoss and tried to pin the shoulders
twice,
but Azreal kicked out at two on both occasions. Adam then backed Azreal
into
the corner and gave him two blows to the midsection followed up by
a European
uppercut. Adam continued by whipping Azreal into the opposite corner
and
catching him with the running clothesline and a DDT. Adam went for
a cover,
but Azreal once again kicked out at two.
Adam kept going with a double arm suplex on Azreal
and another pinning
attempt, but somehow Azreal kicked out at two. Adam then whipped Azreal
into
the ropes and caught him with a back elbow. Adam went for another cover,
but
again Azreal kicked out at two. Both Adam and Azreal started to go
at each
other with kicks to the backs of their legs until Azreal dropkicked
Adam in
his knee.
Azreal then put Adam into a half Boston crab. The
Claw asked Adam if he
wanted to submit, but Adam said no. Azreal grabbed the top rope to
apply more
pressure to Adam, but The Claw saw what was going on and forced Azreal
to
break the hold. Azreal went to work on Adam's knee with a legdrop on
the knee
and then into a figure four leglock. The Claw again asked Adam if he
wanted
to give up, but Adam again said no. Adam did manage to reverse the
figure
four on Azreal, but had to break the hold when Azreal grabbed the rope.
Azreal continued the assault on Adam's knee and followed up with a
bodyslam.
Azreal then went to the top turnbuckle and
executed the moonsault, but
Adam moved out of the way just in time. Adam whipped Azreal into the
ropes
and went to kick him in the midsection, but Azreal caught Adam's foot,
picked
him up, and put him in a combination death valley driver power bomb.
Azreal
went for the cover, but Adam kicked out at two. Azreal whipped Adam
into the
corner and caught him with a hiptoss and went for a clothesline, but
Adam
countered with a backslide pinning combination, but Azreal kicked out
at two.
Azreal went back to work on Adam's knee. Azreal attempted to whip Adam
into
the ropes, but Adam reversed and caught Azreal in the Kryptonite Krunch.
Adam
hooked the leg and the Claw counted to three. The winner and still
Funking
Conservatory World Heavyweight Champion, The Royal Stud Adam Windsor.
As The Claw raised Adam's hand in victory,
he was jumped from behind by
NWA Wildside's Blackout, Murder One and Rainman. This result would
be what
led up to the three matches these four men have had recently.
The next match would see NWA Wildside Jr. Heavyweight
Champion, Slim J,
take on "The Premiere Talent" David Kich.
The match started off with David catching Slim J
in a fireman's carry
into an armbar, but Slim J managed to get to the ropes to force the
break.
David forced slim J into the corner and made a clean break. David again
took
Slim J down to the mat with a fireman's carry into an armbar which
again was
forced to break when Slim J grabbed the ropes. David caught Slim J
in a
bodyslam and went for a cover, but Slim J kicked out at two.
David continued with a headlock on Slim J, but Slim
J countered with two
blows to David's midsection and followed up with a back bodydrop. Slim
J went
for a cover, but David kicked out at two. Slim J then put David into
a high
vertical suplex. slim J went for another cover, but David again kicked
out at
two. Slim J sat David up and gave him a kick to the back of his head.
Slim J
went for another cover, but David somehow kicked out at two. Slim J
whipped
David into the ropes and caught him with a clothesline and followed
up with a
legdrop. Slim J tried for another cover, but David kicked out at two
once
more. Slim J gave David a bodyslam and laid him out for his finishing
move,
the "Whisper In The Wind". Slim J went to the tope rope and came flying
off,
but missed when David moved out of the way.
As David pulled himself up, Slim J went for a spear
in the corner. He
missed David again and hit his shoulder on the ring post. David caught
Slim J
in a schoolboy rollup and The Claw counted to three. The winner of
the match,
"The Premiere Talent" David Kich.
Today's feature match took place in Cornelia, Georgia,
at the NWA
Wildside Arena. NWA Wildside's Rick and Chris Michaels would be in
the ring
with the Funking Conservatory Triple Crown Champion The Royal Stud
Adam
Windsor and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, the legendary Dory
Funk,
Jr. The referee was none other than Claudia "The Claw" Reiff.
Rick Michaels and Dory would start for their respective
teams. Dory
caught Rick in a headlock and immediately made a tag to Adam. Adam
took Rick
down to the mat with a headlock. Rick rolled Adam over on his shoulders,
but
Adam kicked out at two. Rick whipped Adam into the ropes, but Adam
caught
Rick with a shoulder tackle then back into a headlock. Adam made the
tag to
Dory. Dory came in and took Rick down to the mat with the headlock
take down.
Once both men were up, Rick whipped Dory into the ropes and again was
taken
down by Dory's shoulder tackle. Rick attempted to shake Dory's hand
but as
Dory extended his hand, Rick took his hand and made the tag to Chris
Michaels.
Chris immediately caught Dory in a headlock, but
Dory reversed into the
schoolboy rollup, but could only hold him down for two. Dory caught
Chris in
a headlock and reversed into a hammerlock, but Chris reversed the hold
into a
hammerlock of his own. Dory was able to force Chris back into the ropes
which
would force a break of the hold, The Claw did see to it then Dory whipped
Chris into the ropes and caught him with a back elbow. Dory then made
the tag
to Adam.
Adam came in, gave Chris a European uppercut, and
took him down to the
mat with the headlock takedown. Adam tried for a cover, but Chris kicked
out
at two. Chris tried the armtwist, but Adam reversed into his own armtwist
and
made the tag to Dory. Dory applied his own armtwist into an armbar.
Dory
followed up with two European uppercuts and a cover, but Chris kicked
out at
two. Dory went right back to the armbar on Chris. Dory once again made
the
tag to Adam.
Adam went to put Chris into another armtwist, but
Chris reversed the hold
and applied a headlock to Adam. Adam threw Chris into the ropes, but
was
caught by a shoulder tackle from Chris. Chris bounced off the ropes
over
Adam, ducked a clothesline attempt by Adam, but could not avoid the
boot to
the midsection from Adam. Adam followed up with an armdrag back into
an
armbar. Adam tried for another cover, but Chris again kicked out at
two. Adam
pulled Chris up and made another tag to Dory.
Dory took Chris back down to the mat with a full
nelson abdominal stretch
pinning combination, but Chris kicked out at two yet again. Dory took
Chris
to the corner and gave him a series of kneelifts, forearms, and uppercuts.
Dory tried for another cover, but Rick Michaels came in and interrupted
the
count at two. Dory tagged Adam back in again and he put Chris into
a high
vertical suplex. Adam went for a cover, but was pulled off Chris by
Rick at
two. Adam whipped Chris into the corner and connected with the running
clothesline followed up with a DDT. Adam tried the cover again, but
Chris
kicked out at two. Adam made another tag to Dory.
Dory gave Chris a big elbow drop and tried to cover
him, but Chris once
again kicked out at two. Dory then gave Chris three European uppercuts
and
followed up with the double arm suplex. Dory went for another cover,
but like
before Chris kicked out at two. Dory gave Chris a huge bodyslam and
tagged
Adam back into the match. Adam went to clothesline Chris, but Chris
caught
him first with a clothesline. Chris went to whip Adam into the ropes,
but
Adam reversed and Chris collided with Dory sending him to the floor.
As Dory got up, he was jumped by NWA Wildside star
Iceberg and Adam was
jumped once again by Blackout, Rainman and Murder One. Blackout also
went
after both Chris and Rick Michaels. All of a sudden, NWA Wildside star
Onyx
hit the ring and attacked Blackout. With everything going on, The Claw
decided she had seen enough and called for the bell, ruling the match
a
double disqualification.
