Shawn Michaels Degeneration X have gone too far!!!
WWF CONTINUES TO GO TO "EXTREME" LENGTHS
Vince McMahon recently had a meeting with the WWF crew in which he announced that the company would be pushing an "adult-oriented" product.
Among the controversial incidents before a full house on the "Raw" show included a "strip poker" game between Shawn Michaels, Triple-H and Chyna. When the game ended, Michaels was left in his underwear. During the Jeff Jarrett-Vader match, Goldust came to the ring in a trench coat which he later opened to reveal to Vader that he was completely naked underneath. Later on in the show, Sable arrived in a bikini that could not have been any more revealing.
USA Network received several angry calls from parents concerned about
the Goldust-Luna Vachon segment, WWF's Monday Night Raw will certainly
be met with more disapproval as time goes on.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, in the red corner, from North Bay Ontario Canada, weighing in at one hundred and ninety pounds, Frankie Hart." As the announcer's voice peaked and the crowd at the Marigold Gardens in Chicago, Illinois cheered, Frankie Hart stepped forward from the red corner grasping his full length blue velvet robe on each side at knee level and opening it wide. He walked to the center of the ring. Frankie's arms were out-stretched and his robe open like the wings of a butterfly as he rotated 360 degrees exhibiting his well conditioned body to the approval of the fans on all sides of the ring. This was the standard routine for Frankie Hart upon introduction. All wrestlers have their own way for acknowledging their introduction.
The next night was the Hammond, Indiana Civic Center as Frankie arrived in the dressing room, he saw his friends Dory Funk Sr., Balk Estes, Milt Olsen and Benny Truesdell waiting for Frankie to join the dressing room poker game. Seeing he was late for the game, Frankie quickly slipped out of his clothes and into his full length blue velvet rope and joined the poker game. It was tradition that in those days all wrestlers wore the full length robes.
Time passed fast as Frankie played poker with his friends. Five Card Stud, Seven Card Stud, Name the wild card, and other popular games. Funk was winning, then the sly, cigar smoking, Balk Estes was winning. Now the anti was raised and the pot was a whopping $35.00. "Frankie Hart, You're match is next." came the call from down the hallway. Frankie was holding a straight as he looked at the up cards around the table. "Frankie Hart, You're up." Thirty five dollars on the table and Funk was showing only two pair. "Frankie Hart, let's go." Frankie bet and Funk called. Frankie showed his straight with a smile. "Frankie Hart, your on now." Dory Funk turned over his last card, a "Full House."
Frankie jumped up from the table. He was red in the face. Thirty five dollars was about what he would make for his night's pay. "Frankie Hart, let's go."
Frankie Hart's mind was at the poker table but he was on the way to the ring in front of a full house at the Hammond Civic Center. Frankie was the last to enter the ring. The announcer made the introduction:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, in the red corner, from North Bay Ontario Canada, weighing in at one hundred and ninety pounds, Frankie Hart." As the announcer's voice peaked and the crowd at the Civic Center in Hammond, Indiana cheered, Frankie Hart stepped forward from the red corner grasping his full length blue velvet robe on each side at knee level and opening it wide. He walked to the center of the ring. Frankie's arms were out-stretched and his robe open like the wings of a butterfly. as he rotated 360 degrees exhibiting his well conditioned and totally naked body.
the fans screamed, they gasped, they laughed, they cried, and some even fell out of their chair. After doing his pirouette Frankie looked down and discovered, why all the commotion.
So what's new in the wrestling business after 50 years?
Did Frankie Hart know he had nothing under his blue velvet robe?
And what about Shawn Michaels, Did he throw the poker game?
