Hello and welcome to this week's edition of
the !BANG! TV report. This
week's match is the rematch from last week's program with Blackout,
Rainman &
Murder One, facing off with the living legend Dory Funk Jr. & the
Funking
Conservatory Triple Crown Champion,
The Royal Stud Adam Windsor. This rematch
took place at the NWA Wildside Arena in Cornelia, Georgia. Blackout
was
accompanied by their manager, Jeff G. Bailey.
Before the match started, NWA Wildside CEO
Bill Behrens had come to
ringside stating that instead of regular referee Andrew Thomas officiating
the match, he had appointed an impartial referee. That referee was
none other
than the Funking Conservatory's very own Claudia Reiff aka "The Claw".
The
Claw informed both teams that she would call the match straight down
the
middle.
The match would get under way after information
on the next !BANG! TV
taping titled "Mean Feast" taking place on Saturday night, November
23, in
which the very special guest would be none other than the hardcore
legend
Terry Funk involved in the main event. More on that later in the report.
The match started off with Dory and Rainman
in a collar and elbow tie
up. Dory then pushed Rainman into the corner and made a clean break
when The
Claw called for it. After another tie up, Dory took Rainman's head
with a
headlock then switched to a hammerlock followed up by a schoolboy rollup
for
a quick cover, but Rainman kicked out at two. Dory then made the first
tag to
Adam.
Adam started with a leg trip on Rainman followed
up by a front facelock.
Adam switched the hold to an armbar and made another tag to Dory. Dory
took
over with the armbar on Rainman. After trying a submission move, Dory
made
another quick tag to Adam. Adam whipped Rainman into the ropes and
caught him
with a clothesline followed up by the swinging elbow drop. Adam went
for a
cover, but Rainman kicked out at two.
Adam made another quick tag to Dory, who came
into the ring and caught
Rainman once again with the armbar. Dory whipped Rainman into the ropes
and
connected with the reverse elbow smash followed up by the famous Funk
forearm. The leader of the Funking Conservatory went for a cover, but
Rainman
kicked out at two. Dory once again applied the armbar to Rainman and
followed
up with a hip toss into a short arm scissors. Dory managed to drag
Rainman
along with himself to the corner to make the quick tag to Adam.
Adam once again took over with an armbar on
Rainman and followed up with
a high vertical suplex. Adam went for the cover, but Rainman kicked
out at
two again. Adam reapplied the armbar to Rainman and made another tag
to Dory.
Dory took over on the armbar and followed that up with a side Russian
legsweep. Dory went for another cover, but Rainman found the energy
to kick
out at two once again. Dory tagged Adam back into the match and Adam
once
again had Rainman in an armbar. Rainman tried to reverse, but Adam
reversed
it right back and followed up with a dropkick. Adam reapplied the armbar
and
tagged Dory back in.
Dory took over with a hip toss into a short
arm scissors once again on
Rainman. Rainman tried to drag Dory with him to his corner to make
the tag to
Murder One, but Dory took him back to the mat and tagged Adam. Adam
came in
and went back to work on Rainman's left arm with the armbar. The Claw
asked
Rainman if he wanted to give up, but he said no. Adam then took Rainman
down
to the mat with a wristlock take down and followed up with a head scissors.
Adam reached up and made the tag to Dory.
As Dory went for another armbar, Rainman had
made it to his feet and
gave Dory two big blows to the back of the head. Rainman FINALLY made
the tag
to Murder One. Murder One came in and pounded on Dory unmercifully
and then
caught him with an armtwist into an armbar. Murder One tagged Rainman
back
into the ring. Dory tried to fight back on Rainman but Rainman kept
hold of
the armbar and pounded on the back and shoulder blades of the former
NWA
World Champion. Rainman made the tag to Murder One.
Murder One proceeded to choke Dory in the ropes
and broke the hold when
The Claw called for the break. Murder One then pushed Dory into the
corner
and wrapped Dory's left arm in the ropes. Dory started to come back
with
punches to Murder One in hopes of getting his arm free. As Dory reached
for
the tag, Murder One tripped him up and made the tag to Rainman. Rainman
caught Dory down on the mat and applied a reverse chin lock. The Claw
asked
Dory if he wanted to give and Dory said no. Rainman then picked Dory
up and
gave him a huge bodyslam. Rainman then tagged Murder One back in.
Murder One and Rainman proceeded to double
team Dory with kicks all over
him. Murder One then picked Dory up himself and gave him a bodyslam.
Murder
One grabbed Dory's leg and tagged in Rainman. Rainman caught Dory in
a third
bodyslam and went to the top rope to attempt the moonsault. As Rainman
came
off the top rope for the moonsault, Dory moved out of the way and made
it to
his corner to tag Adam.
Adam clotheslined Murder One, who had also
tagged in, as well as
Rainman. Adam had Murder One in one corner and Dory had Rainman in
the other
corner. Team Funking Conservatory then threw both members of Blackout
right
into each other. Adam and Dory then double whipped Murder One into
the ropes
and caught him with the double punch, made famous by Dory and Terry
Funk, who
will be at the Dory Funk Arena on November 23.
Adam held Murder One up for Dory, but as Dory
bounced off the ropes he
was tripped by Blackout's manager Jeff G. Bailey. Dory rolled out of
the ring
and attacked Bailey with two Funk forearms and once down, Dory gave
Bailey
the spinning toehold. Rainman had rolled out and made the save for
his
manager by hammering Dory in the back. Adam and Murder One continued
in the
ring. Adam whipped Murder One into the ropes and attempted a back body
drop,
but Murder One countered with a kick to Adam's stomach and went to
give Adam
a reverse atomic drop. Adam countered by getting behind Murder One
and
hooking the schoolboy rollup for the three count and the victory.
Blackout was not happy with the results of
the match. Both Rainman and
Murder One jumped Adam from behind, gave him a double whip into the
ropes and
executed the move they call the blackout. Aside from what happened
here, the
winners of the match would be Dory Funk Jr. and The Royal Stud Adam
Windsor.
The next segment picked up where last week's
program left off when
Blackout had scored the victory over Adam and Dory with help from Azreal
of
The Lost Boyz. Adam issued the challenge to Blackout and Azreal to
a six man
tag team match at the next !BANG! TV taping "Mean Feast". The NWA Wildside
stars accepted immediately. Adam then stated that along with himself
and
Dory, their partner would be the one and only TERRY FUNK!!! Dory
then took
the microphone and told Blackout that he, along with Adam and Terry
Funk
would kick their ass.
We are now just nine days away from the huge
six man tag team main event
at the next !BANG! TV taping titled "Mean Feast" on Saturday night,
November
23, at the Dory Funk Arena in Ocala, FL. Again the main event will
be Team
